Skydiving A-License in 10 days

There are no short cuts to get your skydiving license, however rather than do 1-2 jumps per week, this event is made for anyone that wants to get their license faster and with no outside interference or distractions. 

We do prefer that you have made one tandem jump prior, if not- please be prepared to do one as we start.

Skydiving USPA A-License

A-license is the first license a new skydiver achieves.

​

Persons holding a USPA A license may jump without supervision, pack their own main parachute, engage in basic group jumps, perform water jumps, and must have—

• Minimum of 25 jumps
• Complete all requirements laid out by the USPA A License Proficiency Card
• Complete at least five skydives with one or more people
• Pass the USPA written and oral exams
• Have their skydiving license stamped by the USPA

During the 10 days you will go through all that is needed to get your A-license. 

We will use bad weather days for ground training and packing class, and jump when the weather is good. 

We will work in some group settings, and then one or two students per instructor. 

There are no gurantee that you will finish your license in the 10 days since there are many factors. However, if everything goes somewhat as planned, you should be able to get through all of it with no problems. If you do not finish your license you can just schedule the remaining jumps at your leasure. 

This is intense and not for everyone, if you want to get your license on a slower pace, we offer student program all season long. 

If you want to sign up for the 10 days but have a day ior two you can not attend, please reach out to us prior to signing up so we can talk through your options. 

SCHEDULE:

Friday May 24: 7.30am- 8am check in

                               First Jump Course, followed with your first jump/s. The FJC can take about 6 hrs.

Saturday May 25- Sunday June 3

                              8am Start. We will jump, do ground work, packing class. We will take each day as it comes since we can not plan for weather. 

*Plan on long days. If you can not be there for a day or two (or have to leave early on day), please reach out before signing up. 

It typically takes in average 3-4 mos for someone to complete their license when they jump around their normal routine and schedule and only spend a few hours at a time at the DropZone. 

We do suggest to pack lunch and snacks each day. During the first weekend (Memorial) we will have a big fundraising event so food trucks will be onsite. 

TRAVELING STUDENTS:

If you are traveling far and need a place to stay during the 10 days, Please reach out to us. There are several options. 

If there are several of you, one option is to share a AirBnB. Plenty of space and options for tent or RV camping. Less options for hotels nearby. 

COST:

The deposit of $400 is to hold your slot. The balance of $3,200 is due the morning of the first day. (cash price, $3,312 card)

FJC, 25 jumps (Instructor jumps, coach jumps, solo jumps and check dive), equipment rental, packing class-

In the 10 Day course we will also include USPA Annual membership and license fee ($114 value), and a hard copy of the SIM ($25 value)

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on the first day. 

REFUND POLICY:

Deposit ($400)

• 75% refundable if canceling before April 1, 2024, 
• 50% refundable if canceling April 2-24, 2024. 
• 25% refundable if canceling April 25- May 9, 2024
• No refunds after May 9, 2024

The deposit can be transferable to another person for no charge at anytime before May 24, 2024

If you paid for the $1,800 option:

$400 of that is considered the deposit and the above policy applies. The other $1,400 is fully refundable before May 24, 2024.
